Stiftelsen Lantbruksforskning (SLF) – The Swedish Farmers' Foundation for Agricultural Research – makes annual calls for applications for grants for research and development projects. SLF finances projects in some 15 research programmes. Information about sums available and special initiatives is published on www.lantbruksforskning.se.
Applications are made through a web interface which can be accessed at http://ams.orbelon.com/slf. Last date for applications is normally October 1st for the majority of the programmes. There is also a minor annual call for applications with last application date February 1st. Applications must be written in Swedish. SLF only finances research performed in Sweden. For multinational projects the Swedish part can be financed by SLF.
