A number of interest groups are represented on the Foundation Board, which is chaired by a representative from the Federation of Swedish Farmers – LRF.

The Board reaches long-term decisions related to the activities of the Foundation. The Board is also responsible for ensuring that research projects involving several planning groups, or those that are important for the agricultural industry in other respects, can be funded. The Board is also in charge of developing new funding systems to include even more areas of research.
