The goal of the applied project is to shed light on overlooked aspects of the complex subject of horse welfare.
Because of the specific position stall owners have, they are especially suitable to contribute to our knowledge about
the possibilities and limitations that set the conditions for realized horse welfare. Hence, a study that collects
information from stall owners on this subject will make a valuable contribution to the further work for horse welfare
and shed light over the complexity of the subject. New possibilities for deeper understanding and discussions about
how to realize a better horse welfare will be opened. The applied project will also provide all parts concerned with a
clearer picture of what kind of strategies that are needed, in order to fulfill horse welfare needs and also develop
horse welfare further.
