The raw material potential in Swedish agriculture needs to be utilized more efficiently to produce sustainable biofuels and thereby increase security of supply and reach the goals of reducing emissions from the transport sector by 2030. Aim of the project is examine how farms can adapt and cooperate to deliver ILUC-free biomasses to biorefineries without negative long-term effects on soil fertility and at the same time increase self-sufficiency of energy, nutrient and feed. In the proposed project, the potential of agriculture to deliver ILUC-free raw material to the biorefinery is estimated, practical tests on biooil production from dewatered digestate from participating biogas plants are carried out and the system is evaluated through cost calculations and case descriptions at a real biogas plant. The project contributes to the goal of fossil-free agriculture by producing biofuels from manure and residual streams for both agriculture's own consumption and for the needs of society.

It is generally accepted that muscle enzyme activity (CK and AST) levels in plasma may increase in Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds after exercise and racing, indicating muscle damage. However, in one recent study on healthy Standardbred trotters fed a forage only diet muscle enzyme activity levels …

Structure liming on clayey soils (>15% clay) is one of the prioritized measures for mitigation of phosphorous losses to surrounding water. This project increases the knowledge about the effect of structure liming on phosphorous leaching losses on short and long term by investigating the timing and …

Oilseed rape (OSR) is a profitable and important crop in Swedish agriculture, especially winter OSR which is cultivated on approximately 100000 ha each year. Cultivation of OSR relies on large inputs of fertilizers and pesticides, which has economic costs as well as negative environmental impacts. …
