The main objective of the project is to develop and disseminate an innovative research-based tool kit for development of collaboration-based business models for agricultural companies. Through this, the project contributes to increased profitability within the agricultural sector. The toolkit will include all steps from initiating collaboration between sole actors to the creation of constellation-based business models. This type of models are suitable for companies that want to steer away from business logic where competition and price are the main mechanisms and instead aim for differentiation or offers to niche segments. The development will be undertaken in collaboration with actors in the agricultural sector and the result will consist of the toolkit, a concept for education and teaching manuals. These results will be implemented in collaboration with the agricultural societies that are part of the project team and will be integrated into their customer offer.

Young horses can develop cervical vertebral stenotic myelopathy and ataxia, known as "wobbler syndrome" and associated with loss of breeding value, reduced athletic potential and euthanasia. Some wobblers have osteochondrosis of their vertebral facet joints, but it is now known how this relates to …

Automation technology is developing rapidly, not least in agriculture. Several of the biggest challenges in vehicular automation technology, such as complex interactions with other road users, are less problematic for agricultural vehicles than for road vehicles. There is therefore potential for …

The role of liming in the crop rotation remains to be thoroughly investigated. Within two recent SLF projects, yield in sugar beet, barley and oil seed rape has been measured in the first rotation. In 2018, beets will be grown for a second time which gives us unique possibilities with the aim to …

The aim of the project is to study effects of LED-light on milk production and activity in dairy cows. The main hypotheses are that LED light allows maintained cow activity and milk production with less energy used for illumination, and that LED-light makes it possible to apply a dark period during …
