Test och utvärdering av ett digitalt utbildningskoncept till nytta för Sveriges fjäderfäbransch.

The Swedish poultry industry have been in a major scaleup phase during the last decades, not least in the region of Östergötland. To be able to continue this growth, the industry needs more staff and more young employees with the right competence with the ambition to work in the poultry sector. The need for educational material adapted for different target groups, can be found at all levels in the value chain, eg vocational students, university students farmers, new employees and officials.

The Dutch Poultry Expertice Centre, a partnership between the Dutch poultry industry, universities and government, recently presented a digital educational platform with several modules for education within the poultry sector.

Within the project that we are planning now, the aim is to test and evaluate if and how the Dutch digital education platform could be modified and used to meet the need for educated staff for the Swedish poultry industry.

Fjäderfäbranschen har haft en markant utveckling i Sverige de senaste årtiondena, inte minst i Östergötland. För att möjliggöra fortsatt tillväxt behövs det mer personal och fler unga med rätt kompetens som söker sig till branschen. Behovet av målgruppsanpassat utbildningsmaterial om fjäderfä finns längs hela kedjan för såväl gymnasieelever och universitetsstudenter, som för producenter, för nyanställda och för myndighetspersoner.

I Nederländerna finns Poultry Expertice Centre, en utvecklingsplattform och partnerskap mellan företag, myndigheter och utbildningsinstitutioner inom fjäderfäsektorn. De har nyligen upprättat en digital utbildningsplattform med en stor samling utbildningsmoduler kring fjäderfä.

I det projekt vi nu planerar är avsikten att testa och utvärdera hur den Nederländska digitala utbildningsplattformen skulle kunna anpassas och användas för att tillgodose behovet av utbildad personal till den svenska fjäderfäbranschen.
